THE 2018 NIGHTTIME JINGLE BELL RUN
Second Annual Nighttime Jingle Bell Run, helping to benefit Junior Achievement of the Permian Basin, and the final race of the 2018 Basin Race Series, presented by: Midland Athletic Co.
REASON: Experience a nighttime Christmas lights race through Grasslands Estates West combining Midland's largest race, Christmas lights and, of course, SANTA! This race features food trucks, cookie decorating, pictures with Santa, hot cocoa and the BEST Christmas spirit found in Midland.
RACE: This race will be hosted by Scharbauer Elementary school in collaboration with Grasslands Estates West. This year's race will only feature a 1K/5K.
LOCATION: Scharbauer Elementary School - 2115 Hereford Blvd. Midland, TX 79707
BENEFITTING: Midland Athletic Co. believes in giving back to the community and those who serve it. The 2018 Nighttime Jingle Bell Run will be benefitting Junior Achievement of the Permian Basin. ALL DONATIONS received by runners will go to help support Junior Achievement and their local mission. JA of the Permian Basin will be present during this race and volunteering their time to make sure you have a professional, fun and competitive race this year.

Course will consist of one loop through Grasslands West
BIB PICKUP: Thursday-Friday, Nov. 29-30th from 10-6 @ Midland Athletic Company. Saturday, Dec. 1st from 4:30-5:30pm at Scharbauer Elementary School.
ARRIVAL INFO: You will need to arrive at Scharbauer Elem. School no later than 5:15pm to have time to adequately park, check-in if necessary, and to explore some vendors! There will be over 1,000 people at this event so PLEASE plan ahead.
PARKING INFO: Wherever you park - please be courteous to the residents of Grasslands Estates and not block any driveways or streets. DO NOT PARK ON HOMESTEAD BLVD. - THIS WILL DIRECTLY INTEREFERE WITH BOTH COURSES. Parking in these areas ONLY: 1) South side parking lot of Scharbauer Elementary. 2) Along Crowley Blvd. 3) Along Hereford Blvd.
Midland Athletic Co. will NOT refund any amount of entry fees in any situation to any participant. If a race is cancelled by Midland Athletic Co. all participants will be notified prior to the event and event benefits (shirt, etc.) will be addressed on a case-by-case basis. The only reason Midland Athletic Co. will cancel a race is if the race is deemed unsafe for runners in any situation due to weather, unforeseen circumstances, or any ‘act of God’.
