Event Description

Join us May 27th at Veterans Park for a the City of College Station's Texas Weekend of Remembrance 5K Run/Walk and Kids' Mile benefiting Brazos Valley Cares. Brazos Valley Cares is a 501c3 dedicated to helping veterans and their families in the Brazos Valley through grants to local organizations providing services to veterans and an emergency financial aid fund. Visit our website for more information https://www.brazosvalleycares.org/. First overall male and female finishers in the 5K Run/Walk will receive a Fitbit courtesy of the TAMU Wellness Works! Program.

Date: Sunday, May 27

Race Times: 8 a.m. – Kids Fun Run | 8:30 a.m. – 5K Run/Walk

Packet Pick-Up: Starts at 7 a.m.

Pre-Race Warm-Up: 7:30-7:45 a.m. (Led by Camp Gladiator College Station)

Location: Veterans Park & Athletic Complex

Registration Deadline: Saturday, May 26

Prices: Kids 1 Mile Fun Run (12 & Under): $10
5K Run/Walk: $20

Rules:

·       Parents can run alongside their kids in the Kids Mile at no cost, but only the kids will receive a shirt.

·       Kids in strollers are free.

·       Pets are not allowed on the course during the event due to the narrow 5K course.

o   Only Service Animals will be allowed on course.

o   Pets are welcome everywhere else.
