The 120k Route (75 Miles)

Start Time: 6:15 am

The 120k  is a true test of endurance – best suited for the very experienced cyclist. From the Start/Finish, the first Rest stop is located at Skyline Blvd and Kings Mountain Road. Then you will head to the town of  Pescadero, take a break for  lunch at the rest stop for our tasty peanut butter and  homemade jelly sandwiches. Lunch will prepare you to ride up the infamous Tunitas Creek Road where the Amgen Tour of CA has included in their route! Be sure to stop at the Bike Hut at the base of Tunitas Creek for water before you begin your ascent! We recommend a pace of 16 mph or faster that will bring you back in the early afternoon —in time to enjoy the event and the height of the festivities! If you can't ride at that pace, please understand you may miss out on some of the post ride fun. You also have the option to change to a shorter distance. Please email Karen Zimmerman at kzimmerman@diabetes.org to make that change.
