Event Description

Biology and ecology is as easy as riding a bike! Use your bike as a vehicle to explore and learn more about our local environment. The trails in and near Vasona Park will reveal critical features of our watershed and interesting aspects of our local and natural history. Practice and improve your riding skills and learn trail etiquette and bicycle safety. Also delve into the mechanics of various bike parts with hands-on experiments. Participants must bring their own helmet, two-wheel bicycle with 20" or larger wheels (no training wheels) and be comfortable riding. YSI cannot provide overnight bike storage.
