SCRAMBLIN' SCROOGE 1M 8 am / 5K & 10K 9 am / LITTLE MISER FUN RUN 8:40 am

Bah!  Humbug!  ... The Scramblin' Scrooge 1M/5K/10K & Youth Fun Run, hosted by Feat on the Street on December 15, 2018 is now open for registration! Ol' Scrooge is such a miser that, in his honor, we're going to have a Scrooge costume contest along with the event, so let's see who can be the best worst humbug of them all ... Bah!

Participate with Scrooge as he scrambles along on the 15th of December, trying against all his will to avoid the spirit of the season .. then spend the week pondering the ghosts of Christmas past, present and future.  Trust that the spirit of the holiday will find you and you'll be glad to join in with the Original Dickens Carolers, Jolly Ol' St. Nick and yes, Scrooge himself as we spread the joy of the season!

This event is the 2nd event of the City Park Winter Running Series.  It is held on a certified course, professionally timed, with results posted at the event and online. It's also the precursor to our traditional Christmas Carol Classic 5K/10K & Tiny Tim Fun Run, which takes place on the 22nd of December. If you'd like to run the Scramblin' Scrooge and the Christmas Carol Classic, consider doing the Christmas Double - and save on both events; here are the details:

We’ve ‘Doubled the Dickens’ again in our holiday drive for Denver Children’s Home this year with the Scramblin’ Scrooge 1M/5K/10K on December 15th!  So now there are two Dickens themed Christmas events on back-to-back Saturdays!  You can come out for either one of them and have a great experience - or you can 'Double the Dickens' in your Christmas week and run different combinations of each awesome event and get a slight twist on each variation in the Dickens combination!

1)  Register for the 1M, 5K or 10K – Single Race at Single Event
2)  Daily Double Two Races at Single Event (1M 8am and 5K or 10K 9am at one event)
3)  Christmas Double (1M, 5K or 10K at both Scrooge and Christmas Carol)

So join us at the Scramblin’ Scrooge on December 15 as we chase the ghosts of Christmas past, present and future and then run the traditional Christmas Carol Classic on the 22nd, where you will receive the special edition Doubles t-shirt and medal (in place of the standard Christmas Carol shirt and medal – and don’t forget to upgrade to a long-sleeve shirt in the checkout process!).
Scrooge and Christmas Carol are the 2nd and 3rd  events in the City Park Winter Running Series!  Participate in 3 of the 7 series events and qualify for your series finisher medals, the finale party, drawings for Stapleton Run Series and much, much more!
Also, this year, don’t forget about the Ugly Christmas Sweater contest!  And Thanks to our friends at Snowtorious for providing us with some free Ugly Christmas sweaters for this year’s run!
