The Labor Day 5K is one of our fastest selling promotional runs of the year famous for New Enlgand's food and hospitality. This year finisher's medals celebrate an American classic HOT DOG!. This running hot dog will proudly join your collection of awesome finisher's medals.
Check in race day opens at 9 a.m. and our 5K run/walk from the Ale House takes place and the smooth flat and paved surface of the Pinellas Trail at 10:30 a.m. Labor Day Sunday, September 2, 2018. This is a great run/walk for families ans it is stroller friendly. The run begins and ends at New England's Ale House.
All registrants will receive the awesome finisher's medal, a race local tech shirt, free beer and post party with music and awards to the top 15 males and top 15 female finisher's. All participants who finish in under 59 minutes are electronically timed by bib number and to maintain our less competitive crowd, race results are posted in the afternoon on race day at www.727CanRace.com
Event details and schedule
Packet pick up will open Sunday, race morning only at the race venue at 9:30 a.m. at New England’s Ale House in Palm Harbor. Your registration fee includes your Michelob Ultra free beer for everyone over 21, your post race snack from New England’s Ale House, a timed and accurate 3.1 mile course, your awesome finisher’s medal and a “race local” tech shirt. This race benefits Finishlines For Scholarships 501c3 so be sure to give a thumbs up to our many teens who help out at the race.
The course is entirely flat and paved in a north out and back route from Oceanview to Valley on the Fred Marquis Pinellas Trail.
An email will go out to all registrants on Thursday of race week with your bib number assignment, waiver or release and all parking and race morning instructions that you will need.
