Event Description
The 19th annual Carpinteria Triathlon offers both the seasoned and novice triathlete a fun challenging course that travels the foothills and neighborhoods of Carpinteria.
The Carpinteria Triathlon is a benefit event for the City’s Parks & Recreation youth programs. Proceeds will help to provide scholarships and additional equipment for programs such as Junior Lifeguards, Surfing Lessons, and the Carpinteria Aquatics Club. The scholarships offered help local families in need of fiancial support provide their children with engaging activities that stimulate their minds and bodies.

Event details and schedule
Saturday, Sept. 24 Packet pick-up will take place from 1-6 PM at 200 Linden Avenue on the field. Athletes must pick up their own packet and must provide a photo ID and USAT card, if a USAT member.
Sunday, Sept. 25 Packet pick-up will take place from 6-7:30 AM for those travelling from out of town.
At 7:30 AM the first Olympic wave starts with the Sprint waves beginning around 8 AM. Must bring photo ID and USAT membership card to pick up your packet. Each athlete must pick up thier own packet - no exceptions per USAT rules.
