Event Description
Produced by the Dana Point Chamber of Commerce in partnership with Run Racing, the Dana Point Turkey Trot is the nation’s sixth largest turkey trot in the country. Named a Top 3 Thanksgiving Destination by Fodor's Travel and one of America’s best Thanksgiving Day runs by Fitness Magazine, the Dana Point Turkey Trot has become an Orange County tradition, attracting more than 16,000 participants, including friends and family, in its 5K, 10K, Kids’ Gobble Wobble, and two-day health and wellness expo.
The Dana Point Turkey Trot is a USA Track & Field (USATF) sanctioned and certified event.
Tour the beautiful beach, majestic cliffs and coves of Dana Point. Enjoy pounding surf, rugged cliffs, and cool ocean breezes as you sail through the Dana Point Marina, Doheny State Park and pass the Historic Tallship Pilgrim moored in Dana Point Harbor.

5. Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
No. We do not require you to bring a copy of your email confirmation or ticket - however, you are required to bring a valid ID and waiver form in order to pick up your registration packet.
Registration materials can ONLY be picked up by friends or family members. Friends and family of a participant may pick up packets on behalf of a participant only if they have a copy of the person’s photo ID and waiver SIGNED BY THE PARTICIPANT (or participants parent if under 18). 6. What is the refund policy?
Sorry, registration fees are non-refundable, but they are transferable (see above FAQ #3).
