BRINGING NEW HOPE TO UGANDA!
Loving One by One Ministries is holding its 2ND ANNUAL 5K Run/Walk to benefit the staffing and equipping of our newly built NEW HOPE MEDICAL CENTRE in Uganda, East Africa.
Why run on the streets? When you can run in the gardens!
The South Coast Botanic Garden is a 87 acre garden in the Palos Verdes Hills has over 150,000 landscaped plants and trees from approximately 140 families, 700 genera, and 2,000 different species, including flowering fruit trees, Coast Redwoods, Ginkgos and Pittosporum. Its gardens include the Water-Wise Garden, Japanese Garden, English Rose Garden, Garden of the Senses, among others. A small lake and stream bed attract various birds such as ducks, geese, coots, and herons. Over 300 species of birds have been recorded at the gardens.

VIRTUAL RUNNERS:
For individuals or teams who cannot join us at the Botanic Gardens on October 11th, the Virtual Run option is for you! You can run anytime/anywhere and we encourage you to gather friends, family and coworkers to join you. Also we'd love for you to post your sweaty picture on the event Facebook page and tell us where in the world you ran!
T-SHIRTS:
Participants who register by October 1st will receive a free race t-shirt. For virtual runners, t-shirts will be mailed to the address noted on your registration.

9:30AM Presentation of Medals
PARKING - Parking is limited; carpooling is highly encouraged
COURSE - Three loops around the Botanic Garden. Participants not competing for medals are welcome to complete 1 or 2 loops, if desired.
COMMERATIVE KEEPSAKE - Each participant will receive a special African keepsake for running in the 5K.
Children 7 and under FREE
Medals for Male, Female & Youth (Ages 8-12) for 1st, 2nd 3rd place
