Event Description

The Battle Buddy Run is open and free to the public. The Idaho Army National Guard sponsors the event, with a maximum of 500 participants, 250 two-person teams. The Battle Buddy Run is a specialized Terrain Run designed with a “Boot Camp/Combat” theme, incorporating a series of military obstacles throughout the run. Participants will sign-up as two-person teams, on-line prior to the event.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

There is no minimum age, but some obstacles are designed for those 13+. 

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

The Battle Buddy Run will be located at the IFTA, approximately 9 miles west of Idaho Falls, on the north side of Highway US-20. The run will utilize the dirt road system and obstacles of the IFTA, completing a full loop, and ending at the start point. 

How can I contact the organizer with any questions?

Parking for participants will be on-site, and there is no fee (per car) to enter the IFTA.
