Event Description

Race Thru the Redwoods is run entirely in Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park in Felton, California. The race starts near the main picnic area and runs one mile on paved roads followed by scenic trails next to meadows and the San Lorenzo River. The moderate to challenging course then rises approximately 300 feet in elevation between mile 2.5 and mile 3.5. Return is on downhill paved road and dirt trails with the finish near the starting line. Water/aid stations, mile markers.

This race supports Scotts Valley Girls Soccer, SLV Cross Country Team, Santa Cruz Track Club, and the Felton Volunteer Fire Department.
