WHAT?

The Zombie Fun Run 
 

The choice is yours:
     -Be a Runner (human) and run from the Zombies.

     -Be a Zombie and pull the runner's flags as they run through your "Zombie Zone."  Must be ages 16+ to participate as a Zombie. Limited Space                                              Zombie (15 and under and registered with adult) CAN NOT grab or reach for runners flags. Must be in presence of registered adult at ALL TIMES.
 

Runners wear 3 flags on a belt. Protect these flags, they’re your “life.” Zombies are staged throughout the course ready to chase you and steal your flags. Try to survive, if you can... Lose your flags, and you can still finish the course as a runner. Look for Safe Zones at mile 1 with water, and pick up an extra life flag! Prepare for walkers, runners, crawlers... and some surprises.

Choose to become a member of the Zombie Horde instead, and polish your human hunting skills while adorned in true flesh-eating fashion, compliments of the event's  make-up team, followed by a visit to our Blood Splatter zone (both incl w/reg). Makeup is free of charge, though tips are appreciated!

The run starts at 3:00pm.

We will release "mini waves" every few minutes until everyone has crossed the start line.

       -Runners should arrive at 2:00 PM for check in.

Zombie shift is 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM.

      -Zombies should arrive at 1:30 PM to allow time for check in, makeup application, training, and for a ride to their "Zombie Zone."

Packet Pickup will be at the run. Gates open and check-in begins at 1:45 PM.

HOW MUCH

Register now for the lowest rate.  Register by September 12, 2019 for a FREE T-Shirt!  Cannot guarantee T-shirts for those registered after September 12, 2019.

 Runner/Human

11 years old & up only $25 if registered by 10/1/19! Regular entry $40
10 years old & under $15 after discount. Regular entry $20
 

Zombie (Makeup is free of charge, though tips are appreciated!) Must be ages 16+ to participate as a Zombie or if under 16 you must be registered with an adult zombie.

11 years old & up only $25 for the 1st 200 to register! Regular entry $40
10 years old & under $15 after discount. Regular entry $20  Must be registered with a Zombie adult. Can Not pull flags from runners.   Must stay with adult at all times.                                 

COURSE

You will run on the trails thru Sparrow Pond Campground. This includes the wooded area.  The path is mostly gravel and there are a few hills.
 

Note: this is a fun run and the course is not certified and is not officially timed. We approximate the distance based on terrain and accessibility.

For everyone's safety, strollers are not allowed.

NO REFUND POLICY

We cannot issue refunds. The cost and logistics of setting up and planning the event make refunds impossible. The run will take place rain or shine, however please understand we are at the mercy of mother nature and county officials, so if conditions deteriorate to the point of becoming an unsafe environment for our participants, we will react accordingly. Safety will always take precedence.

In the event a race is postponed or rescheduled, your registration will be honored at a future event. A postponement/reschedule would only happen due to an event outside of our control (i.e., dangerous weather, acts of God, an ACTUAL zombie outbreak...).

If you find that you are unable to use your registration, we are happy to transfer it to another person or to a future event. You must email us PRIOR to the event at camp@sparrowpond.com for transfers.
