Description
The Elementary Aquatics Program consists of six levels and is designed for ages 6-12. The group lesson format for level 5 includes eight 40-minute classes which are held Monday through Thursday for two weeks. In most cases, enrollment is limited to a minimum of three and a maximum of eight students per instructor. When necessary, students may be asked to move to an earlier or later class time. If a class is full, please add your child to the waitlist in case we are able to accommodate more participants.
This is a 40-minute class. Level 5 is designed for children who can swim freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly and can swim 2 consecutive laps. In order to complete this course, your child must be able to swim freestyle, backstroke, and breaststroke for 50 yards, butterfly for 25 yards and swim 6 consecutive laps. Upon completion of this course students will enter Elementary Level 6 - Stroke Development and Fitness Swimming.
