Description
The Elementary Aquatics Program consists of 6 levels and is designed for ages 6-12. The group lesson format includes eight 25-minute classes which are held Monday through Thursday for two weeks. In most cases, enrollment is limited to a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 4 students per instructor. When necessary, students may be asked to move to an earlier or later class time. If a class is full, please add your child to the waitlist in case we are able to accommodate more participants.
Level 1 is designed for children ages 6 - 12 who are beginner swimmers and still need assistance in the water. In order to complete this level and move on to Elementary Level 2, your child must be able to travel 5 yards, bob 3 times, and tread water for 15 seconds, all without assistance.
