Event Description

The Run for the River 5K is a unique race to benefit the Bitter Root Water Forum, a community driven non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the traditions of agriculture, community and recreation by protecting, enhancing and restoring the Bitterroot Watershed through on the ground restoration projects and watershed education. This fun course winds through two city parks along the beautiful Bitterroot River. Come out for this one of a kind experience in the Bitterroot Valley!

Back again this year the Splish Splash DASH for kids 10 & under. No pre-registration necessary, t-shirts available on a first come-first served basis. You can register day of at the park starting at 6:00pm. Splish Splash DASH is at 6:45pm. 5K starts at 7:00 pm. Choice of fresh beer from Bitter Root Brewing or an Ice Cream sandwich upon finishing the 5K.
