Event Description

Gingerbread Man Running Company is excited to announce our Labor Day Half Marathon on Sunday September 2, 2018 that will support Autism Connection of Pennsylvania.  You can read more about them at https://autismofpa.org/  

The race will be sponsored by Tri-Medical Rehab Supply.  Learn more about them at https://www.trimedonline.com/

The course will begin at the Westmoreland County Community College and will hit part of the 5-Star trail and loop back on to some rural roads back to the college for the finish.  Post-race food for sale in the WCCC Commissioners Hall, provided by AVI, the college's food service provider.

The half Marathon begins at 7:30, followed by the 5k and 10k at 7:35.  Registration opens at 6:00 a.m.  5k awards will be at 8:30, 10k at 9:30 and 11 for the half marathon.  

Race registration cost includes a t-shirt, finisher medal, and a pint glass. 

Grab your friends and create a team!  The largest team registered wins an award on race day.  Get a group together, give yourselves a fun name, and register to win!  

Packet pickup information will be sent out a week before the race.
