Event Description

"Gulliver's Run" is a 5k Trail Run/Walk for dogs and their human companions, although you may participate without a canine pal. The proceeds of "Gulliver's Run" are donated to the National Canine Cancer Foundation which in turn distributes the funds to various national research or treatment facilities which are directly involved in the fight against canine cancer. "Gulliver's Run" is a 501(c)3 non-profit, public charity whose mission is to carry on the battle against canine cancer. "Gulliver's Run" is named after Gulliver Rue, a Hungarian Vizsla who was a lifetime trail runner until his race was cut short by canine lymphoma. "Gulliver's Run" is held annually on the trails at beautiful Gifford Pinchot State Park on the first Sunday in November. It is a family friendly event with great prizes and awards, and many extra features.
