We love two things - Running & Craft Beer - so for our 2nd Birthday Party we couldn't think of a better way to spend the day then enjoying the two together with all of you!
Although it might sound crazy to other people, we know that they best way to celebrate finishing a race of any distance is with a ice cold craft beer.
Join us for the next installment of our collaboration series with Left Hand Brewing for a beautiful 5k along the St. Vrain greenway and through the newly opened trail system that leads over to Roger's Grove. This fast, flat course starts at Left Hand Brewing Company winds around the lake at Roger's Grove and then makes it way back to Shoes & Brews for the after-race festivitiies. After the race, enjoy Longmont brewed beer at the brew fest and after-race expo. Beer sampling is included in your race registration.
After you have had your fill of sampling beer, listening to great music, giveaways and checking out the newest running gear, there will be a free shuttle service on Left Hand Brewing's Wake Up Dead limo between the two locations after the race. Or it is a short walk on the St. Vrain trail to get back to your car.
Your $30 race registration includes: An event customized Boco Gear race hat ($25 value), entry into the after race expo & brew fest along with raceday/packet pick-up discounts on running gear at Shoes & Brews and entry into the after-race bib raffle giveaways.
Race day prizes included: Overall Male and Female Winners will walk away with their weight in beer (1 keg of their choice) from Left Hand Brewing, also *NEW* for this race we will have a Best Dressed Category and the Best Dressed will receive Left Hand Brewing Beer 4 a Year Certificate, other prizes from vendors will include, shoes, watches, apparel, beer, nutrition, race entries and more.

Event details and schedule
Packet Pickup: Thursday July 21 & Friday July 22 starting at 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Shoes and Brews or 8:30am-9:45 am on raceday. Participants will be able to use their race discount in-store during packet pick-up or on race day.
Race will start at 10 am from Left Hand.
Parking will be across from Left Hand's taproom in the dirt lot. Carpooling is encouraged, parking is limited.
The course will be clearly marked with volunteers to direct and aid stations along the way. The race will be primarily along the St. Vrain greenway paths. Course map will be posted soon at www.shoesbrews.com
If you plan to enjoy an after-race beer, please remember to bring your I.D. with you.
The overall male and female finishers will receive their weight in beer (1 keg) of their choice from Left Hand Brewery.
Many other prizes will be given out at the after race expo as a bib number raffle. All you have to do is be there and hear your bib number to win!
Costumes and a smile encouraged - especially if you want to walk away as the Best Dressed for the day! (Beer 4 a Year Certificate from Left Hand Brewing will be up for grabs).
