Event Description
Scholar Sprint is a One Mile Fun Run, 5K and 10K held in conjunction with the Argos Summer Kickoff Festival. This race is sponsored by Argos Dollars for Scholars and will start and finish in the Argos Community Park, Argos, IN. 5K and 10K runners will run along portions of the Summer Kickoff Festival parade route.
The race will have volunteers along the race route, mile markers and distinct course guidance along the route. Water stations are also available along the 5K and 10K routes
This years features.
- Prize baskets for top 2 finishers male and female in both 5k and 10K.
- In addition Scholar Sprint has added course records for both the 5k and 10K, male and female. The first runner male and female to break the course record 5K and 10K will receive $100.

Place: Argos Community Park
Start times: Fun Run 8:30AM, 5K 9:30 AM and 10K 9:20 AM
Parking available at Argos Community Schools, from there you can walk to the Argos Park. Please drive back behind the school and along the outfield of the baseball diamond and park in the grass field, this parking will be across from the park. From this parking lot you can the walk to the Argos Park Pavilion where registration is located.
All participants registering by June 9, 2019 will receive a race T-shirt. There are no guarantee's on shirts when registering past this date.
Online registration ends June 20, 2019. Race day registration and packet pick up will be available from 7:30-9 AM Saturday, June 22 prior to the race. Should you want to get your packet early, you can pick it up at the Argos Dollars for Scholars food booth at the festival in the park on Friday, June 21 from 5-8 PM
One Mile Fun Run: This course is a paved path which winds throughout the Argos Community Park.
5K: This is a flat fast course that travels through the Town of Argos . A portion of the course travels along the Argos Summer Kickoff Festival Parade Route.
10K: This course is a flat and fast course winding through the Town of Argos, along the Argos Summer Kickoff Festival parade route, and through the beautiful countryside.

Argos Dollars for Scholars raises funds to support scholarships which are awarded to graduating Argos Seniors that wish to pursue a secondary education.
