Event Description

The Cridersville Fire Department will be hosting the 5K Fire Run through the small town and unique scenery of down home living. This year the race has had a major makeover! It is a new route and it is now a evening race on Friday night! The course is mostly all flat with very little elevation change. After the race stay around and enjoy good food and good entertainment. The Earthquakers start at 8:00PM to rock your socks off and enjoy a nice cold Adult beverage.  The Jamboree has  been a yearly tradition for over 50 years for friends and family, young and old to come together and have a great time. 

New this year is the Firefighter Challenge! Register for Firefighter Challenge and run in  turnout gear (minus the liner). If you are really feeling a challenge, you may wear a SCBA but it is not required.  Paticipants will receive the regular participant shirt and a unique challenge gift. Registration for the Firefighter Challenge will end on July 1st. This registration will limited to a certain amount of participants and the participant must be 18 years of age or older to participate.

Be sure to register early. Registrations after July 1st will not be guaranteed a shirt.
