Event Description

and in 2016 the race is headed back to where it began... Cherry Creek State Park

The 7th Annual Denver Trail Half Marathon and 10k, is on the move... after a couple of years being down South of the city, the ERS is bringing the race back to its roots. Cherry Creek State Park in Aurora will be the site for the ERS' longest running event. The race will once again be held on the West side of the park with the start and finish located at Hobie Hill next to the Marina

PLEASE NOTE: Due to parking restrictions inside the park and across the street, ALL runner parking will be located at Hope Methodist Church on Dayton St. The parking lot is approximately 1 mile from the event site. The ERS will provide a shuttle bus that will run every 15 min, starting at 6AM on race day morning. The same shuttle will take people back to the the parking lot.

7:00am: Continiental Breakfast begins

8:00am: Half Marathon Start

8:15am: 10k Start

10:00am: Kids Half Mile Dash powered by Western Dairy Association

10:30am- 10k Awards

10:45am- Half Marathon Awards

11:00am- Finishline Festival/ Expo Closes
