Event Description
Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Ohio and Red Shoe Society present the 2nd Annual Red Shoe Run Scavenger Hunt benefiting Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Ohio (RMHC). RMHC serves families with seriously ill children by providing a home away from home at the Columbus Ronald McDonald House just steps away from Nationwide Children's Hospital.
Explore historic German Village and the Brewery District with a Scavenger Hunt starting at Schiller Park and ending with a cold beer at a locally owned bar.

Participants must show ID for packet pick up
If picking up for other participants, please have a copy of their registration email on hand
RACE ELEMENTS
All participants must arrive to the start line by 3:30pm for any final race call outs and to receive their first location clue
Race to start on time at 4:00pm
The event is OPEN for 2 hours.
The roads will remain open during the run so use caution when crossing streets and alleyways
Stay to sidewalks when possible
There will be a water stop along the route as well as signs/volunteers at each location to provide clues to get participants to the next location
Top finisher will receive a prize
All finishers will receive a beer at the scavenger hunt finish line.
Finishers will need to present their valid ID and bib tear off to the Red Shoe Run volunteers
Every participant receives an official Red Shoe Run Scavenger Hunt shirt
Gear check will be available to all participants
Write your name/number on the back of the gear check bib tear off
Gear drop off: Schiller Park
Gear pick up at the final location.
All gear must be picked up by 7:00pm
The event will take place Rain or Shine, in the event of severe weather take shelter in the nearest public location
No pets will be allowed to participate in the scavenger hunt
SCAVENGER HUNT RULES
All participants will start at Schiller Park
Participants have a total of five (5) scavenger locations to find; including the finish line location.
Participants will be handed a clue at each location by a Red Shoe Run volunteer
DO NOT LEAVE THE LOCATION WITHOUT YOUR NEXT CLUE!
If participants can’t solve the clue they will be given the opportunity to pay a $10 donation (cash only) to get the name of the next scavenger location
