Get into the holiday spirit and join us for the 10th annual Holiday in Lights 5K run/walk at Sharon Woods. Be among the first to see this wonderful display of holiday lights on foot!

Event Information
Saturday, November 17th, 2018.
The race is a USATF sanctioned and certified 5K (3.1 miles) run/walk.
Due to parking space and accommodations on the course, the event will be limited to the first 1,850 participants registered.
Once the event has reached the cap, online registration will be closed.
Proceeds from the run/walk will benefit Great Parks of Hamilton County, The Sharonville Christmas Fund and Hands Against Hunger.
**Please--due to the nature of the course and the low light levels, no pets permitted in the event.
Race is rain or shine. Runners start at 5 PM and walkers will follow at 5:05 PM. Strollers are welcomed.
Course
The 5K takes place completely inside Sharon Woods Park and will include park roads and the Parcours Trail.
The route will travel through the lights loop one time.
Parking
Limited parking will be available inside Sharon Woods near the Sharon Centre .
Free parking is also available at PARK 42, an office complex immediately across the street from the Rt. 42 entrance of Sharon Woods.
Please use the crosswalk that has been constructed.
For your safety, please DO NOT PARK near the Harbor (Kemper Rd. entrance).
This is a 1-mile walk to the start/finish and will be an unlit path in the dark after the race.
Post Race Activities
Plan to stay for food and fun inside a heated tent near the Sharon Centre and then visit Santaland, open until 10:00 PM.
Santaland will be open from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM following the race.
Only those wearing a race bib are permitted into the after-race food tent.
Awards
Awards will be presented to the Top (5) Overall Male and Female Runners.
Awards must be presented on gun time, but chip time results will be available for all finishers.

All amenities mentioned above may not be available on race day. Race day registration (only if space is available) begins at 3:00 PM in the Sharon Woods Training Center. Credit cards only.

Costume Contest
Come dressed in a holiday costume and stop by Fleet Feet's booth for costume judging.
Prizes will be awarded to the top winner in the following categories: Best Adult Male, Best Adult Female, Best Child Female, Best Child Male, Best Group.
Holiday in Lights (drive through lights)
Holiday in Lights presented by Frisch’s and produced by The Alleen Company, is an established Cincinnati Holiday tradition for over 28 years. It is an outdoor light display at Sharon Woods, a Great Park of Hamilton County, viewed by guests from the comfort of their own vehicle. Built over a mile of wooded roadway, the holiday themed displays of fantastic seasonal color adorns the woods, depicting everything from Santa Claus and his elves to every animal on the ark. There's no need to bundle up to enjoy Holiday in Lights; simply warm up the car, turn your radio dial to Warm 98, round up your friends, family, or a special date, and head to Sharon Woods. It's that easy. Holiday in Lights is open nightly from Friday, November 16th to Monday, December 31st. Admission is $15 per vehicle ($45 for buses and 15 passenger vans). A portion of the ticket proceeds go to Hands Against Hunger!
