Event Description

On Sunday, September 22nd, 2019 the HEADstrong Foundation will present the Inaugural Running aHEAD of Cancer, a 5K Race and 1M Walk in Swarthmore, Pennsylvania.  

The Running aHEAD of Cancer 5K is an annual event that assists local families and funds complimentary nights at Nick’s House, a guest family residence, operated by HEADstrong that provides complimentary lodging and support for families displaced to the region in the pursuit of lifesaving cancer treatment.   

Your support will be instrumental in allowing us to strengthen our commitment to families in our community and living here while their loved ones undergo advanced care treatment in the region.

***Runners and Walkers will receive HEADstrong Foundation awareness swag. All registrants signed up prior to the end of August will be guaranteed a race shirt. Anyone registered after Sept 1st is not guaranteed an opportunity to receive a race shirt but will receive other awareness items.
