For children that are at least 5 & that have never had swim lesson or are a little timid. For every level of the Learn-to Swim, our instructors follow a plan to introduce new swimming and water safety skills. In Level 1 - Introduction to Water Skills, your child is introduced to basic water skills as the foundation for future skills and the development of water competency. The goals for Level 1 include: entering and exiting the water independently; traveling in the water independently; bobbing; opening the eyes underwater and retrieving a submerged object; and gliding on the front and back with assistance.
