Event Description

The Western Wayne Elementary School PTO is a non-profit organization that supports our local school, Western Wayne Elementary.  The WWES PTO handles school fundraisers such the Flying Eagles 5K to provide funding for field trips, student recognition gifts, bringing special events to the school such as the school carnival, special guest performances and holiday secret shop.  The PTO also supports the school staff and helps provide the school as well as students with supplies needed to ensure the best possible learning environment!

The Flying Eagles 5K is part of the Wayne County Challenge, an annual series of distance races held within Wayne County, Indiana.  The 7th annual Flying Eagles 5K is scheduled to take place on Saturday, September 15th, 2018 in Cambridge City, Indiana. Last year we had 240 finishers from surrounding areas!  Our goal for this race is to see even more participants and help our local school with activities throughout the 2018-2019 school year.

Race is held at Western Wayne Elementary School (801 E. Delaware, Cambridge City, IN)
