Come on out to Clearwater the morning of Mother's Day for the best Mother's Day 5K in the USA! It's the perfect way to start your day with Mom or honoring Mom in this family friendly 5K run or walk beginning at 9 a.m. Don't worry about your speed we draw a very fun promotional crowd at New England's Ale House in Palm Harbor, one of our FAVORITE locations on the www.727CanRace.com calendar.

 All mother's (past and present) will be honored as we present carnations on behalf of one our favorite Florida non-profits; Random Acts Of Flowers (RAF). Your finisher's medal, either in photo or presented to Mom, is the perfect gift to show everyone your love for her by keeping yourself "heart" healthy on Mother's Day morning.

This is an electronically timed 5K but no age group awards. Awards will be presented to the first 10 males and first 10 females across the finish line (and as always “some special categories ” )…..the rest of us will be out there in good fun in an electronically timed but non-competitive 3.1 mile run or walk along the Ream Wilson Trail in Clearwater. If the 5K division is not full by May first we will offer a 1 mile distance run/walk which will begin just after the 5K start at 9:15 a.m. and is a finisher's division only. That means we don't record your time in the 1 mile but you get all the same great goodies! There is no fee to switch from the 5K to the 1 mile on race day. 

Check in is race day only beginning at 8 a.m. at Buffalo Wild Wings in Clearwater. There is plenty of parking in the Buffalo Wild Wings Clearwater parking lot. The course is entirely flat and paved so it is stroller/family friendly. Our post race party is in the ice cold air conditioning inside Buffalo Wild Wings, 21688 US Hwy 19 N, Clearwater, FL 33765 located in the shopping plaza on the corner of US 19 and Drew.

An email will go out to all registrants on Friday of race week with your bib number assignment and parking instructions. The course is entirely paved so it is family friendly and stroller friendly. All finisher's will receive the awesome WOW finisher's medal, a Race Local technical shirt, a free corn dog sampler and a free beer for everyone over the age of 21. We love our post race parties so feel free to bring everyone with you!
