Event Description
- The 6th Annual SCEF 5k will take place at Shenango High School on Saturday, September 22, 2018. The 3.1 mile course is suitable for walkers, runners and strollers. It is an out and back course on rolling flat roads. All proceeds from the event go to the Shenango Community Education Foundatoin, which funds students scholarships and classroom grants for the Shenango Area School District.
5K Race Fees: Adult race entry fee includes tee shirt, goody bag and post race refreshments! (Shirts guaranteed for entries prior to September 14, 2018.)
Pre-Registration: $20 Pre-register online at https://runsignup.com/Race/PA/NewCastle/SCEF3rdAnnual5K or by mail (online preferred).
Race Day Registration: $25 Students (Grades K – 12): $10 (Tee shirt not included. Student entry fee is the same for pre-registration and race day.)
Age Groups and Awards: Top overall male and female finishers will receive medals. The top 3 male and female in each age group will receive medals: 10 and under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+. All medals will be given immediately after the race.
