Florida Hospital Heartland Foundation 2nd Annual Pink on Parade

Wear your pinkest attire as we run, walk, and rally against breast cancer.

Please join us in our 2nd Annual Pink on Parade 5k run and 1 mile walk! Whether you run, walk, or flock, all proceeds will continue to assist in the purchasing of an automated whole breast ultrasound system. This state-of-the-art technology will detect cancers that may have been missed in a mammogram. Additional funds will also provide continued financial support for men and women in Hardee and Highlands Counties who cannot afford a breast cancer screening.

In 2017, more than 150 men and women from the community wore their pinkest attire to walk and rally against breast cancer, with the results of raising more than $11,000, and providing 39 members of our community with needed mammograms. This event and the raised funds would not have been possible with out the efforts of these participants, as well as those from our partnered sponsors and business vendor booths, who showcased their products and services.
