Event Description
Description
For children that have passed Level 1 & 2 or that can swim independently in the deep end. In Learn-to-Swim Level 3 - Stroke Development, our instructors follow a plan to introduce new swimming and water safety skills and to build on previously learned skills. Your child learns to swim the front crawl and elementary backstroke at basic levels, is introduced to the scissors and dolphin kicks, learns the survival float and increases the time durations for treading water. Your child also learns the rules for headfirst entries and begins to learn headfirst entries from a seated position. The level's goal is to help your child develop water competency. Children will move onto level 4 and increase the distances of each stroke, learn butterfly stroke, dives and open turns.
