Event Description

Come hustle along the beautiful farmland of Ebey Island while supporting food banks throughout Western Washington!  Join us in our collaboration with the Snohomish County Conservation District and Jim Eichner of Food Bank Farms.  Come to harvest corn that will be given to Food Lifeline to distribute near and far and/or come run with us.  The trail along the river beautifully demonstrates the relationship between urban life, with the City of Everett on one side, and the agriculture that supports it with pristine farmland on the other.  Run proceeds will go to Lake Stevens Community Food Bank.  The winner of this race is the individual who collects the most money from run sponsors.  So get out there and spread the word so that you can become the Harvest Hustle Champion! The corn harvest will start the event at 4.  The run will begin at 6 and there will be a fun afterparty at 7.  Feel free to come for all or part of this event.
