Event Description

The Big Rock Triathlon has been a favorite for triathletes for almost 20 years

Ironman champions and triathlon world champions have raced at the Big Rock Tri

great for first timers, age groupers and elites

We offer 

Olympic: Swim 1.5k, Bike 40k, Run 10k

Sprint: Swim 1/2 mi, Bike 12 mi, Run 3 mi

Off-Road mtb: Swim 1/2 mi, Bike 10 mi, Run 3 mi

Calm lake swim, with a great bike course that has a short climb (off-road course has a few steep climbs) the run is fun and fast with a few very short up and downs

free participant t-shirt, NO finisher medals

Top 3 in each age group receive medals

Water temp is in the low 60's

and the weather is usually in the mid 70's

FREE BBQ lunch to all participants!

gates open 5am

$10 State Park fee carpool and save$

First wave starts at 7:30 am

bring picture ID

bring USAT card or sign up for one day USAT

park in lot 8 if you want to leave early

park in lot 10 if you plan to stay until the last bike finishes

BBQ burger, chips and a drink free for participants
