FUNDRAISING TO PROMOTE PHYSICAL ACTIVITY FOR TODAY'S YOUTH!"
This event is a unique opportunity for children only to participate in a competitive wave or an open wave. ADULTS ARE NOT ALLOWED ON THE COURSE. Volunteers will be on the course to help participants at the obstacles. Adults are to: cheer, support, and enjoy watching your child(ren) having fun, plus take photographs and videos. A group of volunteers is available to accompany participants, if needed. If you have questions or need additional information, please send an e-mail to: info@jcoskidsocr.org.
Competitive Waves: Everyone will receive recognition for participating in this event (i.e., t-shirt), but for participants that push himself or herself and prevail beyond his/her limits will receive additional recognition with an award. Awards will be given to: (1) the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finishers in each of the three competitive waves below; (2) participants that finish 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in their age group; and (3) participants that complete ALL obstacles in the Habanero and Cayenne courses only.
Open Waves: All participants in the open waves receive a t-shirt. Finishers will also receive a medal.
Team Registration: A 4-pack registration is available for teams. You receive a 10% discount per ticket. So, start getting your friends and family members together to have a great time.
The HIII OCR is a fundraiser being co-sponsored by the non-profit, 501(c)3 Jefferson County Open School’s Parent, Teacher, Student Organization (PTSO) and Seize My Adventure, LLC. The primary area proceeds are being raised for is physical education-related programs and events.
A few items the proceeds will go towards are: replacing mats in the gymnasiums; climbing wall in the small gym, and bringing in various after-school physical education/sports-related programs (e.g., soccer, flag football, volleyball, and parkour).
