Event Description

This race is in memory of Lisa Shampoe....  She was an employee/friend of mine who passed away battling Cancer.  She was 40 years old.  I started this event to remember Lisa and to help raise money to help others battling this terrible disease.  Over the last 10 years we have donated over $41,000 total to various organizations (Cancer Society, United Way, MD Anderson).  All proceeds minus  direct race expenses are donated to help others. We run this event as volunteers who want to make a difference.  Help make the 11th Annual bigger and better than before.
