Event Description

This is 9th annual 5k and mile fun run/walk with the course which will start at Ben Frankling Elementary School and Finish on the track within Adams Fields passing by the Lou Reuter Press Box on Sunday October 14th. The proceeds from the run will go to the Lou Reuter Scholarship Fund. Coach Reuter was an extremely dedicated teacher, coach, Member of the Kenmore Town of Tonawanda Board of Education, mentor and also served as the Western Region Coordinator for the Empire State Games. The Scholarship goes to one Kenmore East senior who demonstrates community service, demonstrates school spirit, involved in school activites, has finished in the top 40% of their class and has been accepted to an accredited college.
