Event Description

Chasing Caterpillars Triathlon is a USAT Sprint Triathlon with a pool swim of 250 meters, an 11.4 mile bike leg and a 5K run.  It is located in the beautiful city of Stuart, Florida and attracts all levels of triathletes from beginner to the top performers in the state.  Proceeds from the event go to the Treasure Coast Down Syndrome Awareness Group - and the members of that group help in all phases of the race - as well as having some participation from the kids.  It is a fun for all event, always well attended - always full well before the event.  Included in the event is the option for the "Team Challenge" - which pits the local clubs and teams against each other for trophies and bragging rights - teams getting points from their team members podium finishes which are totaled to determiner the top teams!
