Event Description

The Bay Point Turket Trot 5K and Family Fun Run benefits a cause dear to our community's heart, the Wesley Burnham Foundation.  This amazing foundation provides pre-school scholarships and music program funding to honor the life and legacy of two-year-old Wesley Burnham.  This year, the foundation has partnered with Wesley's preschool- Woodlawn Child Development Center.  We are excited to join forces so we can continue to see this event fund the Wesley Burnham Scholarship Fun at WCDC for years to come.

Participants will enjoy a scenic route through the beautiful Bay Point Community, filled with marina and golf course views- and encouraging cheers from the neighbors. This event continues to grow and brings our community and visitors closer together. 

Participants will receive a Bay Point Turkey Trot drawstring bag, long-sleeve race t-shirt (adutls and youth), commemorative race bib and medal.  Family and friends are welcome to join in to cheer participants on and enjoy in the festivities which include: bounce house, DJ Markie Mark, face painting, and much more!  Don't miss out on this wonderful family event!

Event details and schedule

The official course will be mapped and include chip readers for timing.  The 5K race will begin at 8:00 a.m. and the Family Fun Run will begin at 9:00 a.m. We are offering early packet pick-up on November 21 from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. at Sheraton Bay Point Resort.  *** Please note shirts run one size larger than normal.  We suggest sizing down.***
