Event Description
Join us for a fun and challenging footrace on the Hopi Reservation honoring the 1912 Silver Medal Olympian, Louis Tewanima. The 10K and 5K races will test your endurance and stimulate your mind and spirit. You will run on flat, level trails as well as steep mesa trails with beautiful panoramic views, being cheered on by spectators as they watch from the top of the mesa. Experience the thrill of completing one of the toughest races in Arizona.

AWARDS/PRIZES
The Top 3 Male & Top 3 Female finishers of the 5K and 10K footraces will receive medals and traditional Hopi awards.
The Top 3 Male & Top 3 Female finishers in each age category of the 5K and 10K footraces will receive medals.
10K & 5K registrants will receive a "Performance" Race T-Shirt if registered by July 31, 2016. All other registrants receive a cotton Race T-Shirt!
10K & 5K registrants will receive a Runner's Bag and a Race T-Shirt.
1 Mile Fun Run/Walk registrants will receive a Race T-Shirt only.
Registration
ONLINE Registration closes Friday, September 2, 2016.
In-Person Regular Registration is available Saturday at the Community Center from 3:00pm-8:00pm (MST). Regular Registration will close Saturday, September 3, 2016 at 8:00 pm MST!
Race Day Registration is available at the Race Site beginning Sunday, September 4, 2016 at 5:00am MST, but closes 30 minutes prior to the start of each individual race (10K registration closes at 5:30 am MST, 5K registration closes at 6:00 am MST, 1 Mile registration closes at 6:30 am MST).
Packet Pick Up
Saturday evening prior to and during the free pre-race "Carb" dinner at the Community Center from 3:00pm-8:00pm (MST). No Packet pick is available prior to this time!
Race Day Packet Pick-up is available at the Race Site beginning Sunday, September 4, 2016 at 5:00am MST.
