Event Description
Run Molalla Series is made up of 3 races in 3 different seasons giving you the best combination of what rural running has to offer.
April 21st Goat Mountain Gallop Half Marathon – Run a legacy, leave a legacy! Run a Legacy = The Goat Mountain Gallop is one of the oldest half marathons in Oregon. This year it turns 35! Leave a legacy = race profits benefit the Molalla track team. Support a legacy of American track by running this race! Could it be that the next record holder could come from Molalla High School? Your support for this local event could make that possible! The race is a point to point course that takes you across the beautiful rural country side. This race is organized by the Molalla High School Track Team, and comes with a tech shirt, and has both a running and walking option for the half.
July 4th Freedom 5K – The Freedom 5K is the full small town Americana 4th of July experience. The course runs a parade route lined full of thousands of people just before the parade. All proceeds go to various local charities includeing the local VFW helping those who made our freedom possible, our veterans. Participants receive a tech shirt, and a free Rodeo tickets for the 1:30 show on the 4th. Finishing medals for everyone! Participants can either run or walk the race. This race is organized by the Molalla Running Club.
September 22nd Molalla River Trail Race – A breath taking beautiful and challenging 100% trail race in the Molalla River Trail system. The race offers a 5K, 10K and half marathon route, with a combination of double and signal track trails through amazing forest land. The 5K is a walk/run, the 10K and half-marathon are run only. These courses are challenging but rewarding! All proceeds are donated back to local programs that support and promote the Molalla River Corridor and the Molalla River. All participants receive a beenie hat and a finisher’s medal.
All races are chip timed!
Finish all 3 races and receive a special Run Molalla Series medal.
All purchases are non-refundable and non-transferrable both for the series as a whole and for the individual races.
