Please join us for the 4th Annual Veterans 5Krun/walk and Kids Dash. This event adds a little challenge of a trail run, with a smooth paved route to finish. All proceeds from The Veterans Family Trail Run will go directly to (SOVAH) Serving Our Veterans at Home. SOVAH is a non-profit Veterans organization that was created in 2008 for Veterans, by Veterans to help, and support those with barriers that are not consistent with civilian life. SOVAH knows our Soldiers have endured physical, and mental challenges in some of the harshest environments. Those who make it home have scars, and some of which we cannot see.

SOVAH is continuing the partnership with Team RWB, a local Veterans organization that strives on improving Veterans lives through social and physically activities. Heroes Tap House – Friday August 19, from 4-7pm.    4435 Liberty Rd S, Salem, OR 97302

Heroes Tap House is a proud sponsor of this year Veterans Run and every runner that is over 21 years old will be getting a ticket for one FREE Beer; you can redeem your ticket any time from August 19-21st.                                                        Heroes Tap House will also be donating 10% of your food bill to Serving Our Veterans At Home, if you choose to stay and try some of their delicious food ONLY ON FRIDAY 19 from 4-9PM

 You may also chose to pick up your package  Saturday August 20th t from 0730-0820 at the Keizer Rapids Park on 1900 Chemawa Rd N, Keizer, OR 97303

0730-0820 Registration/package pick up                                                                                                                                 0835- National Anthem By SMSgt , Denise Phillips,   USAF                                                                                                      0845- Introduction to our guess speaker-Oregon House District 20 House Representative Paul Evans                          0855- We will do 22 Pushups to remember the Heroes we have lost to Suicide                                                               0900- Run For Our Heroes 1k starts                                                                                                                                           0930 – 5K begins

AId/WATER STATIONS- There will be 1 Aid Stations at the starting/finish line - and 2 water station – 

PORTA POTTIES - There will be 2 porta potties  at the start/finish 

DAY OF RACE REGISTRATION - Day of race registration will be offered at a cost of $35 for all participants.  .

AWARDS - Awards will be given for the top three overall males and females over 15 and for anyone 15 and under there will be a prize for the overall male and female youth. 

OTHER INFORMATION-

This race is more than just a fun run so please don’t leave without visiting all of the awesome providers table that took time off their busy schedule  to come out and support this great run.

There will be food for purchase and some of our last year shirts and key chain for $5 so please don’t forget your wallet!!
