Come run or walk the Best Dam Run! This all paved course features views of pristine waters, shading forests, interesting geology and sometimes, bald eagles, osprey and colorful waterfowl. The start is east of Estacada on North Fork Lake. The course meanders along the wild and scenic Clackamas River to finish at Broadway St. in downtown Estacada to a welcoming Farmers Market and musical entertainment. In addition to the race’s great course, we will have special prizes and awards. This event is limited to 750 entrants so don't wait to get registered.
Best Dam Run 10K has been chosen by Road Runners Club of America (RRCA) for their Western Regional Championship series. The RRCA Championship Series, the largest grassroots organized running series in the US, attracting over 320,000 runners annually, shines a spotlight on well-run events and awards top performing runners in the open, masters (40+), grand masters (50+), and senior grand masters (60+) categories for both men and women.
ORRC members will receive $10 off their registration. You'll also have the opportunity to sign up for ORRC membership during the registration and receive $10 off your registration.
Early Packet Pick Up
Best Dam Run early bib pick up is Friday, September 22nd between 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. at Road Runners Sports' Tualatin store located in Nyberg Woods Shopping Center, 7063 SW Nyberg St, Tualatin, OR.
Bib pickup on race day begins at 6:30 a.m. approximate to the finish line near 470 Broadway Street.
Participants are shuttled from Estacada to the starting line as this is a point to point event. Bus shuttles start at 8:30 am from city hall in Estacada. There will be a bag drop at the starting line.

The Best Dam Run 10K is the seventh (and final) event of the ORRC 2017 10K Series.
This all paved point-to-point route is a great PR course as it's basically all down. The course meanders along the wild and scenic Clackamas River to finish at Broadway St. in downtown Estacada
