Event Description

The races will be held on Sunday, January 14, 2018. The half marathon, 10K and 2 mile races are all run on a flat course on country roads, surrounded by scenic farmland. There is water and toilets on the course. For those expecting to take longer than 2 1/2 hours to run the half marathon, there is an early option. Participation is limited to the first 1,000 registered runners for all three races combined.

All participants will receive finishers medals. Race entry fee includes a long sleeve shirt. Awards will be given to the male and female overall and masters winners in the half marathon and 10K, as well as three-deep for age group winners. No awards will be given for the 2 mile race. Early starters' results in the half marathon will not be considered for overall or age group awards. There will be lots of random prize giveaways, too, from our generous sponsors!

Packet pickup is in the high school gym, where race participants can relax, stretch and stay warm. Families and friends can hang out in the gym, too. Since the race starts and finishes right in front of the gym, you can stay inside until the last minute! Afterwards, you can celebrate your accomplishments in the school's cafeteria with hot soup from Norpac, coffee from The Governor's Cup, Great Harvest bread and fresh baked cookies!

Proceeds from the race will benefit Cascade High School's track & field program, as well as provide scholarships to graduating high school seniors from the mid-Willamette Valley who wish to continue their education.
