Event Description

The Oregon-Northwood Rotary Club is happy to present our 2nd Annual Run for Literacy and Golf Ball Drop in the city of Oregon!

The race proceeds will benefit literacy projects at local schools in the Oregon and Northwood communities, as well as special missions at the Lake Erie West Challenger Learning Center for local students. This is a family event, and runners of all speed are encouraged and welcome! Those over 18 will also receive a free entry into our Golf Ball Drop that is taking place at the end of the event. The winning ball could go home with $1,000!

Pricing Structure:
Adults: $25 - Includes registration number, water bottle, and golf ball raffle entry
Under 18 (as of 9/7/19): $20 - Includes registration number and water bottle
Day of event: $30 (Adult and child) -Includes only registration number
Online registration Deadline: 8/31/19

The race will begin at Starr Elementary School (with registration taking place across the street at Fassett Junior High). Each participant will get a free water bottle and registration number. Top finishers will receive a medal, as well. 

There will be a 1K route for those who would like to walk.

This is a rain or shine event. No refunds will be given.
