The 18th Annual Blackberry bRamble

The Blackberry bRamble, a celebration of cycling in beautiful Lane County, returns to Amazon Park on August 7th, 2016.

Now in its 18th year, the bRamble draws cyclists from all over the Northwest to Eugene on Sunday, August 7th. The centerpiece is the full century (100 mile) ride with more than 6000 feet of elevation gain. For those wanting less of a workout, there are 62, 40, 20 and 10 mile rides All routes are clearly marked, include food stops, SAG support, and enthusiastic volunteers.

Early Online Registration for the Blackberry bRamble (100, 62 and 40 Mile Rides) is $39 through July 28, 2016. Late Registration, beginning July 29, 2016, is $49. Refund Policy - Full refunds will be given for cancelations until July 15, 2016. Half the registration fee will be refunded for cancelations from July 15, 2016 thru July 31, 2016. There will be no refunds given after July 31, 2016, except in exceptional circumstances.

Registration is limited to the first 600 riders.

Group Discounts - Groups of 5 or more riders can get a discount of 10% per rider. Contact michael@eugenegears.org for a discount code.

The Community Ride

Exploring the back roads, neighborhoods, and paths of the greater Eugene area. This years route is being determined now…. Free ice cream and blackberry pie at the end of the ride for each rider and entry into Amazon Pool for $1.00!

Early Registration for the Community Ride (10 and 20 Mile Rides) is $8 through July 28, 2016. Late Registration, beginning July 29, 2016, is $10.

Directions to the Ride

The ride starts at the Hilyard Community Center, 2580 Hilyard Street, Eugene.

If you are driving, you can park at the South Eugene High School parking lot, 400 E 19th Ave, just a few blocks away along a bike path. There will be volunteers to greet and direct you. If you are coming from out of town on Interstate 5, take the E. 30th Avenue exit (Lane Community College), then drive west on E. 30th Avenue to Hilyard Street (approximately 3 miles), then take a right and go about 1 mile to E. 19th Ave. The high school parking lot is at the intersection of Hilyard and E. 19th Ave.
