Event Description

We're getting in shape before we eat a ton of turkey, stuffing, and pies!

Come join the nation wide movement of virtual turkey trotters!

The Turkey Leggers can run the 5k or 10k from anywhere! Out of town and not near a turkey trot? Don't have time to drive all the way across town, fight for parking and space in a sea of hundreds of runners while you're basting your turkey at home? Let's commit to keeping each other motivated and have some fun, in a virtual turkey community!

Come join us! Run from home or your neighborhood. Official timing files are due by 4 p.m Thanksgiving EST/1:00 p.m. Pacific.

-Once you submit your files, you will receive a tech Tshirt and finisher medal in the mail! Age group awards for M/F and Overall 1st and Masters will also be sent. We're on the honor system, so if we feel something's funny we might ask you to submit some other examples of similar times you might have run. We trust you guys though, as turkey trotters are turkey STRONG!

Costs: 5k - $25 until  November 17th, $28 until Thanksgiving eve. 10k: $28 until November 17th, $30 until Thanksgiving Eve.

What you get: Support from a community of runners, Tech Tshirt, Medal, entry into age group awards.

We benefit: Mid Michigan Cat Rescue. Because we love animals.
