Event Description

The Woodinville Leprechaun Leap 5K is a family friendly event whose main purpose is to raising funds and awareness for the Health & Hope Organization.  This flat 3.1 mile course is ideal for all abilities from the serious runner looking to PR to families just wanting to get out a do a healthy activity together.   And no St. Patrick's Day race would be complete without those who love to dress up and we encourage all participants to come in your favorite costume and "Irish" green attire.  

The Health & Hope Organization's mission is to deliver dental, vision, and medical care via portable clinics to communities that lack access to healthcare. Education, light, water, sustainable business, and sexual safety needs are addressed by our programs and partnerships with specialized NGOs. Our focus is impoverished women and children of Tanzania and the Philippines.

This race would not be possible without the race directors from the Woodinville Running Company whose mission is to foster the growth of athletic events in Woodinville and the surrounding cities that support the 3 pillars of Fitness, Family and Community through production of various supporting events.  These events have a beneficiary non-profit who derive fundraising abilities for these events.
