Event Description
Grab your best holiday outfit and join us for the 1st Annual Soroptmist Santa Fun Run, December 8th at 9am at Autumn Winds Park. All proceeds from this race go toward the local Soroptimist chapter with the mission of improving the lives of women and children.
Date and Location
The 5K run and 1 mile walk will be held on Sunday morning, December 8th, 2018 at 9 am. The 5 K race will begin at Autumn Winds Park and will travel west along the canal. The course is relatively flat but may not be suitable for strollers. For those participants who would rather stroll the 1 mile course, walkers will start at 9:15 am.
Ho Ho Ho!!! You better watch out… Don’t wait and don’t be late. The last day to register online is November 30th. Registration costs goes up to $30.00 after November 30th. Race t-shirts are only guaranteed for runners signed up before November 30th.
Register by Mail!
There is a PDF form at the bottom of this web page that you can download and print. Please fill out one form for each participant. If you register by mail and pay by check, the cost is $25 per person until November 30th when the cost goes up to $30 per person. Please allow 7 days for the registration to be received and registered.
Packet Pickup Location
Your race shirt, race bib number and registration packets will be available to pick up on Friday, December 7th from 4 pm to 7 pm in the lobby of City Hall, 595 Silver Lace Blvd. or on Race Day, December 8th at Autumn Winds Park.
They will not be mailed to you.
Late & Final Registration
If you have not registered for the run and decide to get in on all the fun at the last minute, you can register at lobby of City Hall, 595 Silver Lace Blvd., December 7th from 4 pm to 7 pm or on the race date, December 8th from 7 am to 9 am, before the start of the race.
You will need to fill out one registration form for each participant. You may pay by cash or check and the cost is $30 per participant.
You may download and print out the PDF form at the bottom of this web page and bring it with you to City Hall on December 7th. You will receive a t-shirt (if available), your race bib number and registration packet.
The race must go on!!!
There will be no cancellations for inclement weather.
After all, Santa wouldn’t cancel Christmas for a little snow!
