Event Description

Welcome to the 5th Annual SuperHero Run to Cure Diabetes 5k in Elgin, Texas!  Come join us on March 9, 2019 at Veteran's Memorial Park at 9:00 a.m. Come dressed in your favorite superhero costume! This event is fun for the entire family.  It's a great route for runners and walkers. Pets are allowed! 

This race benefits the JDRF Austin Chapter. 

• 1K starts at 9:00 am for ages 5-12 

t-shirt and finishers medals for all participants 

• 5K starts at 9:45 (chipped race) 

t-shirt, race bibs, finishers medals and 1st, 2nd and 3rd place medals male/female age categories.

• Zumba with Val at 8:15 

• On-site registration starts at 7:00 on race day 

• Early packet pickup is Friday, March 8, 2019 at the Elgin Fire Department, 111 N  Ave C, Elgin, Texas 78621 starting at 4:00 p.m. 

• 1K starts at 9:00 am for ages 5-12
