Event Description
Join us for the first City of Gresham 5K, 10K, and half marathon event; The Gresham Lilac Run. Each run will begin and end at Gresham City Hall. Each run will incorporate one or more of the hidden gems of our City, Wy' East Way, the Gresham-Fairview Trail, the Spring Water Corridor, Gresham Butte Saddle Trail and the Butler Creek Trail.
There will be a FREE "Little Lilac 1K" run for children 12 and under starting at 10am. Every participant must be accompanied by an adult. Please email Sasha.Konell@GreshamOregon.gov to sign up. All children signed up before March 31st will receive a "Little Lilac1K" medal.
5K - Walk or Running event with time limit of 2 hours.
10K - Running event with time limit of 2.5 hours.
Half Marathon - Running event with a time limit of 3.5 hours.
WHY RUN?
ALL racing fees and donations support local non-profit organization, Family of Friends Mentoring. At Family of Friends, they envision a world where every child and family has access to responsive systems that help them live healthy, meaningful and productive lives. Their mission is to build relationships that elevate kids and families and make our community stronger. Family of Friends spun off in summer 2016 and moved to Gresham to bridge the service gap created by recent demographic shifts in the Portland Metro area. They now work in partnership with the City of Gresham, Multnomah County SUN programs and local school districts and businesses to serve more East County kids than ever before!

We will cap our 2019 Gresham Lilac Run at 500 runners. Please make sure to sign up before March 1st to guarantee an event t-shirt.
