Event Description

The Port Washington Beer Run is a 5 Mile Winter Run starting and finishing in North Hempstead Beach Park.  The 5 Mile loop starts in the park and heads north and then south along West Shore Road, ending with a 1/4 mile stretch along Hempstead Harbor in the Park.  This race is only open to participants ages 21 and older.  All participants will receive a long-sleeve dri-fit shirt.  Finishers receive a medal.  There will be a Post Race Party in a heated tent with food and beer.  Proceeds benefit the Community Chest of Port Washington, a 501 (c) (3) charitable organization whose mission is to give grants to charities that serve Port Washington residents and to provide below-cost rent to charities, helping them fulfill their missions.
